The Buckster writes: This article is a must read for those just starting your small business or business in general.  Many small businesses have awesome products but the problem is no one knows about them.  This article reaches home for me because early in my small business history I had launched several web based applications that faultered badly.  Why? Because I did not have the exposure I needed or even better I did not have a good understanding on how to get the word out.  Social media at that time was very early in its infancy.  This was just 6 years ago.  To be quite honest I did not have the money needed as well.  I knew that marketing was important and with the limited resources (little money, a few contacts, a few clients) I tried to get those projects launched. This was to no avail.  All of a sudden things began to line up.  I did not give up on my dream of small business ownership but I took on a different mindset. I began to network with others to create a sort of joint venture and as a result became more of a student and listened to what those partners began to tell me.  Luckily I was the youngest of the group so I began to listen and adjust my business model accordingly.  As a result of the three items this article discusses my business is on the verge of making a big splash in three areas ( International, federal, and consumer markets). The Buckster writes: Well already we are into month 2 of the 2012 year and its been exciting as ever.  I wanted to take one last look at some tools and resources that small business can take advantage so that the rest of 2012 and into 2013 will be a very prosperous year. How SMEs can overcome growth barriers

The Buckster writes: Plain & Simple, this is an awesome article for those of you in the small business world that is ready to do some big projects and are aggressive in this time of financial uncertainty.  As I read through this article I felt like I was listening to a hype song that was getting my emotions ready for a big event. As a small business owner I am looking to go global within the next year.  I have feelers out for such events as the 2014 World Cup games in Brazil as well as the 2016 Olympics located in Brazil. I am currently looking for individuals on the continent of Africa that may have opportunities that I can share my expertise.  Actually I am open to anywhere in the world where the company can begin to grow along with the community we will support.  Small businesses!! The Buckster writes: During my typical day of surfing the internet I ran across an article talking about business health.  Over the last several months I have been examining my business.  I kn0w that the business was growing stronger.  I also know that I needed to take care of 2 very important areas that could come back to kill the company if I left it unattended for anymore length of time.  Keeping this in the fore front of my mind I started to address these issues particularly the issues I had neglected to pay attention to.  As I began to read this article Take a Small Business Health Check it made me take a real hard look at the balance of my business.  I have been addressing all my problems and the goal is to have all my duck in a row by the end of the 2nd Quarter.  The thing that wowed me about this article is that it gave me some insight into what I needed to do to grow the business stronger, it gave me insight of what I may need to do is my niche starts to sway, and it gave me insight into personal matters as a result of a failing business.  This is a dynamic article to read because it opens the mind to business possibilities and the effects it can have on the business owner.  Very Good Read!!!

Securing your start-up or small business

The Buckster writes: Security is the key word for 2012.  In essence protecting your data is number one in any small business or large business for that matter.  I have been part of very large organizations starting with the Department of Defense when Networks based on PCs were starting to become the  main stay.  I can still remember back in the early 90s when I entered the Air Force all the computers on the desks were stand alone.  In a short three years we were implementing Networks in every squadron and the word security became even a more vital word in our vocabulary.  Then there was the Oil & Gas Sector, NASA, and the Hospital organizations I had the pleasure of being a part of.  All these organizations had Security at the fore front of their foundations.  Small business, we have to wake up and realize that security has to be at the top of our list.  Our data is the heartbeat of our organizations.  My advice to each small business and home businesses alike  if you do not have the background to keep up with your security then pay the extra few dollars and get someone in that will take care of your data.  The article Securing your start-up or small business gives you a three step process to getting your business protected.  This is an excellent start to becoming secure.
