6 Ways to Make Your Small Business Look Bigger – CBS News

The Buckster writes: I have to say right off the bat.  This is an AWESOME article to read for those of you out there wanting to start or are currently running a small business out of your home.  I can say that for the last 5 years many of the 6 items the author mentions are dead on point as do’s or donts.  As I read this article all I could do was to laugh and say this is true or that is true.  I have to give one example that I am 500% on board with the author.  As a small business and with the costs now of owning your own domain name please spend the 14.95 to get a email address that does not end in hotmail.com, gmail.com, aol.com, or yahoo.com  This does not lend itself to the credibility  you want to establish with your business.  One of the ways to stand out is by your domain name.  Let me use my company name for an example.  My business name is EC&B Solutions which stands for Enhanced Consulting and Business Solutions but my domain name is nhancedbizsolutions.com just looking at my name two things will stand out thus makes clients and business associates remember the name.  1. Its long and 2. the spelling of the domain is unique. I have had individuals comment on the name more than 100 times.  This is a well written and must read article.
