Why Businesses Should Hire Vets

Veteran Business

As we are coming up on the 4th of July a thought came across my mind concerning veterans.  We as a nation outwardly give accolades to our veterans and go as far as to say hire veterans on bill boards, commercials, and other advertisements. As a Service Disabled Veteran myself I think these things are the right things to do.  However some very disturbing information has crossed my path that I would like to address when it comes to hiring veterans.  It seems that many companies believe that our veterans coming out have limited knowledge due to the structure that the military have.  I want to be the first to say that my brothers and sisters in the military are very structured and that the military of today is cutting edge and allows for outside the box thinking.  I believe from the first time that I stepped foot on Lackland Air Force Base, prior Air Force, I was empowered to think outside the box, focus on the detail of a thing (attention to detail), be on time and ready to work, and finally be dedicated to everything we set our mind to.  As a result of this structure I am now a small business owner with a follow me or get the hell out of the way attitude.  The training I receive was truly the best in the world and I would not trade my experiences for nothing that this world can offer.

For those companies that are interested in hiring veterans please contact http://getmyvetajob.com  there are many opportunities to hire those veterans that are transitioning out of the military as well as those that are now retired or honorably discharged making the transition to civilian life.  This is a great opportunity to become part of an organization that also is on cutting edge of the hiring process through the use of Virtual Computing.  This allows the companies that are partnering to interview veterans prior to exiting the military through teleconference and chat rooms.  This will give companies the ability to interview internationally and from the comfort of their offices.  Those interested companies looking to hire a vet  can contact 480-339-7120 and use reference #CDMC2015

All my veterans and soon to be veterans.  We have training to help you transition.  I can tell you that the difference between military and civilian job life is the use of verbage.  The ability to translate all the acronyms we learn in the military to language that civilian companies use will be the difference between getting a job that is 10 /hr or 25 /hr.  Unemployment is not a joke is an organization that helps with the transition through training utilizing webinars, one on one coaching, books, and audio. Unemployment is not a joke have a program in place that will have you participating in workforce development and training every day till you land that job.  Unemployment Is Not a Joke can be reached at http://unemploymentisnotajoke.com. The phone number is 281-300-2889. If you are looking to get ahead of the game this is well worth your time to investigate.
