The Buckster Writes: Negative thinking is something that each of us have to overcome.  Its something that we all deal with on a daily basis.  As a small business owner I deal with this demon more times than not and its intensified because of the nature of doing business. There are different areas of negative thinking that each of us have to deal with however the most important of the areas that you have to deal with is the battle within yourself.  All the other negative thoughts from outside sources mean nothing once you have made up in your mind to go after what ever endeavor you are going to achieve.  In order to overcome these negative thoughts I have found an article that addresses questions that you can ask yourself in order to move forward.  In this blog entry I will touch on a few.  I will add the link so you can see the other questions to help you deal with negative thoughts.  The top 3 questions that made me say HMMM are: 1. Is this fact or just my opinion?  How many times throughout your life have you made assumptions on a matter and it never comes remotely close to the outcome you think.  When our backs are against the wall our thought have a tendency to go awry.  I do not know about you but this drives me nuts and its not until I get through the situation that I am able to breathe with ease.  Question 2. What assumptions am I making?  Whether good or bad we all make assumptions on a matter instead of sticking to the facts.  This will also push our panic buttons to think negatively.  Question 3. How does this negative thinking really serve me?  Asking yourself this question will bring you back down to earth.  Many times it will force us to change our thinking to something more positive so we can move forward.  These three questions when you are going through a situation are excellent questions to ask yourself in the midst of the matter.  Many times when we think logically on the matter these question will allow us to ease our mind.
